The NuYu Story
My love for beauty and skincare started at 16 years old. I studied Beauty Therapy for 2 years and was awarded an IA Diploma (International Aestheticiennes), later receiving a diploma in Professional Makeup. I pursued my career in London gaining work experience in the department store “Fortnum & Masons” working with a number of high-profile make-up brands. Soon I moved to my dream job at Christian Dior, focusing on their professional makeup and skincare, gaining a huge amount of experience and knowledge. During this time, I also worked as a makeup artist for a modelling agency where I was able to put my passion for makeup and skincare to good use.
After a brief career break to focus on bringing up my three children, I have been a self-employed beauty and holistic therapist for the past 10 years, offering treatments such as facials, nails and waxing and holistic massage. After embarking on further training, I was able to offer more bespoke facial treatments including “Electrical and Galvanic” using various skincare brands such as Decleor, Neals Yard and Origins to name but a few.

Four years ago, I set up my own Beauty Room in Hitchin offering a wide selection of beauty treatments. I spend time talking to clients, listening to their needs and what they want from me as a therapist. This got me thinking about investing some time and money into developing my own skincare range. Having been in this industry for 30 years I realised I had the knowledge and confidence to pursue this.

So here I am now ..moving to a larger beautiful space at The Avenue in Letchworth offering a more comprehensive selection of treatments using my own skincare range! I know what is in my products, the ingredients, the science and am able to offer consultation and aftercare, whether by face to face or video call. NuYu skincare will support every client, all needs and all ages. During the development phase of my skincare range, my case studies ranged from 18 to 80 years old and the results were 100% positive. From problem skin, anti-ageing & pigmentation concerns, hydration to protecting the skin, I firmly believe our product range ticks all the boxes.
